The New Normal: Legislating a Place at the Top for Women

On March 15, Deutsche Telekom AG (DT), Europe’s largest telecommunications company, became the latest corporation to announce that its all-male board had agreed on a plan to create its own quota system, which includes a commitment to appoint women to 30% of all senior and middle management positions by 2015, up from 12% today.
