Do you cringe when you are in a meeting and financials are discussed?
You may manage your budget well, but are not confident with the ins and outs of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and other financials. If your goals are to move up in your career to the C-Suite and Boardroom, then don’t let your lack of financial acumen be a roadblock to your success. Financial literacy is defined as the ability to “read a balance sheet, an income statement, and a cash flow statement, and … understand the use of financial ratios and other indices for evaluating company performance.” This workshop is designed to assist in:
- understanding a company’s annual report and the roles of the board, audit committee and auditor in overseeing corporate financial performance
- mastering key concepts underlying generally accepted accounting principles
- understanding and using financial statements to help you analyze the strengths and weaknesses of a business as well as to identify financial challenges and other red flags.
