The average age of the female leader is 45. Having spent time with 1000’s of women in leadership, we’ve learned a lot about what women are looking ahead to as they think about the second half of their lives. At “mid-life” many women are gaining momentum. They aren’t done yet. They want to continue to leverage the 25+ years of career into another 25+, but they will be doing it with a very different architecture. Consider rejecting the terminology “retirement” and consider instead “reframing”.
