She has served on the boards of United Way, Tampa Bay Partnership, St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Pinellas County Education Foundation, SPCA of Tampa Bay, and many others.
Her greatest volunteer passion has been with healthcare organizations. She served for many years on the board and as chair of the Audit and Finance committees for Bayfront Health System and was a founding board member of Healthy St. Pete, a large foundation dedicated to delivery of healthcare in St. Petersburg. Katie has also dedicated countless hours to The American Heart Association of Tampa Bay, serving as chair of the organization and a founder of the Go Red For Women campaign devoted to raising money and awareness of cardiovascular disease among women and ensuring that NIH research funding requires the inclusion of women as subjects. Katie currently serves on the Philanthropy Council of Bayfront Hospital Foundation, a subsidiary of Orlando Health System.
Katie is a native Floridian and feels lucky to call St. Petersburg home since 1987.
