2025 Florida Board Census Report
Florida Women on Boards, a collaboration between four preeminent women’s leadership organizations – the International Women’s Forums of Florida, 50/50 Women on Boards, the Florida Chapters of Women Corporate Directors, and Women Executive Leadership – has published a 2025 census analyzing female representation on the boards of companies in the Russell 3000 list ("R3000") as of June 30, 2025. This report explores differences by state, delves into specific trends in the state of Florida, and concludes by celebrating the women who joined Florida boards during the 12 months ending June 30, 2025.
The percent of board seats held by women in Florida on the Russell 3000 boards is 27.3% compared to 30.1% for the full national Russell 3000 (R3000). On a positive note, Florida now has 12 gender-balanced boards, up from only four last year. In addition, 34% of new board seats in Florida went to women this year.
